Sportsmen's Tennis and Enrichment Center

Sportsmen’s Tennis Club was the first African–American tennis club in the US. For over 50 years Sportsmen’s has been a guiding force in the lives of thousands of low and moderate– income minority youth. The founders were committed to introducing and teaching tennis to Boston youth. They believed that quality tennis instruction and interaction with caring adults could develop well-rounded young citizens.

Mount Pleasant Home, Inc.

Mount Pleasant Home is a non-profit residential care home for elders. Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, the aim of Mount Pleasant Home is to support the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health of women and men, aged 62 and older. From its beginning more than 100 years ago in 1901, Mount Pleasant Home has been a haven for seniors of all backgrounds and socio-economic statuses.
